Mission: To inspire companies or persons to donate to causes that will enrich the lives of our youth.

Our Story:

The 5 Percent Fund was created by the owners of ADM Skateboards, who consider philanthropy to be a vital component of the company.  This philosophy inspired the company to donate 5 percent of its proceeds to non-profit organizations whose goal is to combat youth drug abuse.  During its first year of operations, ADM received an overwhelmingly positive response to this idea from consumers and retailers alike.  In late 2008, ADM Skateboards decided to take this idea to the next level and form a company whose sole purpose is to benefit youth programs.

How can you as an individual get involved?

Individuals can donate directly, bid on products at our auction site or buy products that display the 5% Fund logo.  A portion of the proceeds from any product with the 5% Fund logo will be donated to this fund and will, in turn, be distributed to one of our approved non-profits.  Purchasing products that display the 5% logo allows consumers to get a great product while giving back at the same time, creating a win-win situation.

How can you as a company get involved?

We encourage corporations, retailers, and other business entities to participate in the spirit of giving by becoming affiliates. As an affiliate, your company will specify who receives its donation by choosing from our list of approved non-profits.  Since 5% is the key to our identity, we encourage companies to donate 5% of something.  The donation could be 5% of a given month’s sales, 5% of fiscal profits, or 5% of the change found in your vending machine.

Why would my company become an affiliate?

Aside from giving back to the community by helping children, our affiliates benefit in other ways.  With a large or small donation, your company can benefit from the 5% brand logo by differentiating your products or services from those which are not affiliated with 5%.  With an ever increasing number of socially conscious consumers, an affiliation with the 5% fund will promote strong brand loyalty and potentially increase your sales.
